Argos Real Estate Advisors recently represented a partnership led by local real estate developer Chris Branch in the sale of the well-known Fowler Building at 1447 S. Tryon St., in South End. The 18,000 SF office building is situated at the nexus of South Tryon, Camden Road, Summit Avenue and the Bland Street Station on the LYNX Blue Line light rail. Originally built in 1928, the former warehouse was redeveloped by Branch’s Boulevard Company in 2003 to a mix of retail and offices. The property sold to Adolfson & Peterson general contractors for $2,500,000. A&P exercised an option to purchase the property in their lease and eventually plans to occupy the entire building. Prior to representing Branch’s partnership in the sale, Argos managed and leased the property for several years.
