For Earth Day this year, we wanted to do something a little different to market our latest project and celebrate our planet. The property at 2173 Hawkins St. has just undergone a complete rehabilitation from warehouse to a mix of offices and retail/restaurant condominiums, offering buyers a sustainable environment right on the Blue Line light rail line. To mark our completion of the shell renovation, we decided to have a party! Over a period of 3 days, we converted two vacant suites to highlight the modern, yet raw, spaces at 2173 Hawkins St. First, we partnered with IKEA to bring guests a view of tomorrow’s modern office. IKEA installed pieces from their new BEKANT line of products. Then, in one of our restaurant suites, we created Earth Cafe, complete with recycled trees and lumber to transform the shell into a full-on restaurant.

We would like to thank the following partners, who helped make this pop-up experience unforgettable:

Monika Nessbach at DesignBar – concept and design
IKEA – workplace environment
Matt Moore and Matt Hooker – interactive artists
Stephan Heubner – mixologist
Tin Kitchen – culinary design
